JAPAN & NATURE
01/12/11 - 06/25/11

Japan and Nature: Spirits of the Seasons, produced by Brooklyn Children’s Museum for the Freeman Foundation Asian Exhibit Initiative, invites kids and their families to discover how nature and art are intertwined, reflected and celebrated in Japanese children’s everyday lives through hands-on activities, dramatic play, and multi-media experiences.

Japan and Nature: Spirits of the Seasons features four main interactive areas each representing a different season and regional setting in Japan.

This exhibition will allow visitors to investigate the dynamic relationship between the Japanese people and their natural environment. In addition, it allows the Youth Museum to draw upon our strengths: using art activities, objects and interactives to excite and educate kids about world culture and different traditional arts.
